Gordon Crovitz is the co-founder and Co-CEO of NewsGuard, which counters misinformation online by rating and creating Nutrition labels for news and information websites. He was the co-founder of Press+ (sold to RR Donnelley), whose technology platform enables publishers to generate digital subscription revenues for website, tablet, and mobile access. He spent nearly 30 years at The Wall Street Journal, where he was publisher and also served as Executive Vice President of Dow Jones.

He is an advisor and consultant to media and technology companies. He is a director of public companies Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Marin Software, and NextDigital (Hong Kong), as well as private companies Business Insider and Blurb. He serves on several early-stage advisory boards.

Gordon graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Chicago and received law degrees as a Rhodes Scholar from Wadham College of Oxford University and Yale Law School.
