Phyllis serves as a Crenshaw Expert, working with executives who are interested in career opportunities in the philanthropy and non-profit sectors. Phyllis began her career in corporate philanthropy at General Electric where, for 13 years, she served in executive roles including Secretary of the GE Foundation. Later, and before founding her own consulting firm, she was Vice President of Foundation Programs for Lucent Technologies. Phyllis earned her BA degree in English and History from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA. She also completed advanced studies in Political Science at The New School.
