Alan Siegel, PhD

Psychologist and Executive Coach

Dr. Alan Siegel has over 25 years of experience as an organizational psychologist, executive coach, and educator. At Crenshaw, he partners with senior leaders to achieve their individual development goals and implement leadership assessment, development, and succession programs. The results are improved individual fit for roles and maximized business impact.

Alan has worked with global leaders across industry sectors and business functions; many have been in industries facing unprecedented change, disruption, and transformation. He has led large-scale engagements focused on change management and organizational design and facilitated operational improvement and strategic team alignment initiatives. Additionally, he has partnered with emerging, high-potential, and proven executives one-on-one to elevate executive presence, strengthen emotional intelligence, accelerate readiness for a promotional opportunity, and assimilate into new roles.

Alan has taught graduate-level organizational behavior, giving him a unique view of academic cultures.  On the business side, he has partnered with executives across a wide range of functional areas, including Finance, Facilities and Construction Management, and Sales & Marketing. He is adept at quickly understanding the culture and dynamics of an organization and the fit required for effectiveness & impact.

As an organizational psychologist, Alan understands how 360s and self-assessments inform a coaching engagement.  He uses them as a springboard for courageous dialogue and action with clients, helping them embrace their strengths and recognize development areas that will improve “how they show up as a leader.”  He excels at building trust quickly, identifying blind spots, and conveying tough messages in a non-threatening way.
