Annie Marks is an Executive Coach for Crenshaw Associates with over 25 years of experience in executive development, organizational design, and change management. She helps executives optimize the most critical components of their leadership success, including the ability to communicate, collaborate, make tough decisions, grow an organization, and effect change. She has advised senior leaders across multiple industries and supported organizations experiencing disruption and transformation, including rapid growth, restructurings, turnarounds, and culture changes.
Annie is an internal advisor on Partner and Associate effectiveness Boston-based Ropes & Gray Law. She was previously a consultant with Arthur Andersen’s Business Consulting in their Strategy, Organization, and People Practice. She oversaw multiple large-scale change management teams on projects involving the implementation of new technologies, structures, and strategies. Annie also worked as a consultant with Monitor Group (now part of Deloitte) as part of a small team applying family systems theory to help senior leadership teams.
Annie is adept at working with individuals and teams to uncover important and conflicting assumptions that can block learning and change. She specializes in helping groups and executives function effectively when faced with important, multi-layered decisions, complex authority structures, competing interests and interpersonal / group dynamics. With a certificate in psychoanalytic organizational dynamics, Annie helps build awareness of underlying dynamics to help her clients make the most impact. She also guides leaders to enhance their executive presence, elevate communications and overall performance during their most high-stakes leadership moments.
