As CEO of Crenshaw Associates, Barb Bridendolph advises C-level executives on a broad range of talent matters. She also oversees client relationships, services development and delivery, and the business development initiatives of the firm.
Barb has been with Crenshaw for 18 years. She is known for her business acumen, effective people skills, broad industry relationships, and her ability to bring out the best in her coaching clients.
Following a career that included P&L roles in public, private, and family-owned businesses, Barb built Crenshaw into the full-service human capital firm it is today. In addition to career transition, she led the launch of executive coaching, individual and team assessment, onboarding and directorship prep. She also expanded the suite of career transition programs to include specialties in private equity and portfolio career options.
Throughout her tenure with Crenshaw, Barb has played an active role in advising and mentoring senior executives. She has led engagements for literally hundreds of Directors, CEOs, COOs, CFOs, GCs, Division Presidents, and functional heads across a variety of business sectors.
As an Advisor and Coach, Barb is most frequently called upon to support newly appointed C-level executives, succession candidates, and high-potentials. Her focus is in helping these talented executives step into greater responsibility, expand their leadership footprint, and effectively develop their unique executive presence. These engagements often involve strengthening her client’s interpersonal style, communication ability, and gravitas. Barb has a particular strength in helping executives understand the impact they have on others in order to channel their leadership efforts in a deliberate way.
Barb also partners with corporate HR leaders to help them identify organizational and talent development needs. In this role she acts as a connector, sharing best practices, information on emerging trends, resources, and contacts to help individual and corporate clients.
Barb started her career in brand management at Procter & Gamble. She then served as SVP of Marketing for retailer Carroll Reed where she had P&L responsibility for the catalog business. Barb was also President of Precision Marketing Associates, a leading agency in the direct response industry.
Barb holds an MBA from the Pennsylvania State University and a BS in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh.
