Psychologist and Executive Coach
Dr. Charles L. (Chuck) Sodikoff has more than four decades of experience as an organizational psychologist, senior-level coach, and educator in all phases of hiring and career development. As an Executive Coach at Crenshaw, Chuck partners with senior leaders to achieve their individual development goals. Through leadership assessment, development, and succession programs, he helps them to identify their best-fit roles and maximize their impact on the business. Chuck has been a coach to executives ranging from medium-sized to global companies in a wide array of industries and functions. He has assisted them to successfully navigate in times of transition and unprecedented change, accel to a higher role or acclimate to a new role, increase their emotional intelligence, or become more “visible” within the organization.
Chuck is a licensed psychologist who has administered and interpreted hundreds of critical thinking, personality, and emotional intelligence assessments used to inform career management decisions. He has directed the selection program for a Fortune 100 corporation and shared his expertise in selection interviewing with hundreds of human resource professionals and line managers in one of the most prominent training workshop programs that he co-designed and facilitated for ten years. He is a published author on interviewing and employment testing and a career management expert for the media.
Chuck’s background in organizational psychology and self-assessment enables him to view his clients’ career journeys through a unique lens. He helps them identify and move past negative self-talk or other barriers that may be impeding their search by offering practical strategies and tools to stay on track. He has turned reluctant networkers into strong self-advocates who understand their own communication “language” and how to identify and “speak the language of others.” Through personalized job search strategies and implementation and professional development guidance, they can find the right culture and fit to onboard successfully.
