Managing Partner
Dr. Erica Rivera is Crenshaw’s Managing Partner. She has a long track record of advising C-suite leaders, boards, and teams when the stakes are high, delivering executive team and board programs that advance leadership effectiveness that provides value to businesses. She has depth of experience in C-Suite Succession, executive coaching, and overall C-suite advisory. Erica has managed teams delivering selection assessment and organizational leadership design for global mergers and acquisitions, setting up quicker post-close transitions and minimizing operational setbacks.
With an emphasis on stakeholder engagement, Erica focuses on enabling business impact by expanding executive influence and building internal and external confidence in executives and their teams. She emphasizes relationship management and driving business outcomes by adopting a sense of urgency and follow-through, prioritizing initiatives, and creating structure and cadence to drive accountability.
Before joining Crenshaw Associates, Erica was a Global Director in the Private Equity practice of YSC/Accenture, where she brought direct experience from having been Managing Director of Human Capital for a private equity firm investing in software businesses. Previously, she held Partner and Senior Principal roles in the leadership consulting firms RHR International and ghSMART, where she delivered executive, team, and board director assessments, development solutions, succession processes, and c-suite coaching services. Overall, Erica is known and respected for applying her understanding of human behavior to develop and deploy human capital. Over the years, she has worked across various industries, including consumer products, technology, media, energy, healthcare, and pharma.
Clients include companies ranging in size from complex global Fortune 500 companies to private equity-backed growth portfolios. She brings deep experience in executive performance and systemic human capital consulting, helping companies scale leadership capability, link talent planning and development to strategy, and develop realistic diversity & inclusion initiatives while evaluating and driving intentional company cultures, which ultimately accelerate business performance.
Erica serves on the board of La Escuelita, a New York City language immersion pre-school. Additionally, she holds an organizational design and governance role on the Board of Shared Harvest Fund|myCovidMD, a non-profit working to improve social equity in the areas of education and healthcare for the underserved.
Erica has lived in Asia and traveled extensively throughout the globe. Erica holds a doctorate in Psychology from Long Island University, a master’s degree in psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute, and a bachelor’s degree in international business from American University. She serves on the board of La Escuelita, a New York City language immersion preschool. Additionally, Erica holds an organizational design and governance role on the Board of Shared Harvest Fund|myCovidMD, a non-profit working to improve social equity in education and healthcare for the underserved.
