Joanna Miller is an Executive Coach and Mentor with Crenshaw Associates. In addition to her Coaching experience, she brings more than 25 years as a retained search consultant and understands career transitions intimately. She founded and led her own boutique firm after serving as a Partner at Russell Reynolds Associates, Korn/Ferry International and Horton International. In addition to her search experience, she has also led practice areas in management assessment and has helped hundreds of senior executive onboard into new roles.
Joanna’s background in executive search benefits senior executives during the execution of their campaigns. Her broad experience across sectors and geographies is a highly valued asset, particularly as Clients interact with retained search professionals and hiring committees.
Joanna’s experience includes a wide variety of industries including consumer products, financial services, professional services, and not-for-profit. As a recruiter, Joanna worked on North American, global and international assignments. She served on the Global Board of Directors and as Vice Chair of the Association of Executive Search Consultants. She is a frequent speaker on issues related to talent acquisition and talent development.
Prior to her executive recruiting career, Joanna was a corporate lending officer with Citibank and held a series of financial management positions at PepsiCo.
She holds an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia, where Joanna served on the Corporate Advisory Board for ten years. Her BA is from Lake Forest College in English, and she completed the Coaching Certification Program at Columbia University.
