Linda Van Valkenburgh

Executive Advisor

Linda Van Valkenburgh is an Executive Advisor with Crenshaw Associates. Crenshaw helps leaders, teams, and organizations successfully navigate executive career transitions, and Linda directly supports our senior most outplacement clients.  

As a transition Advisor, Linda helps executives articulate their personal and professional goals and build a personal marketing plan to guide their job search. Using career assessment tools, she helps clients articulate their unique value proposition to position them effectively in today’s marketplace.  She manages the delivery of all Crenshaw resources on the behalf of her Clients, provides interview and networking training, and helps negotiate the best terms possible when her Clients reach the offer stage.   

Prior to Crenshaw, Linda gained direct business experience in corporate functions including marketing, advertising and engineering. She has coached clients from all industry segments. 

 Her coaching credentials include: Certified Career Management Coach (CCMC); Certified Job Search Strategist (CJSS); Certified Social Media Career Strategist (CSMCS); Certified Executive & Leadership Development Coach (CELDC); and is a Certified Emotional Intelligence (EQ) Coach through the ISEI.  

Linda has presented to MBA students on career strategies at the Yale School of Management and the UConn School of Business and has been a speaker at Career Development Institute (CDI) and Career Thought Leaders (CTL). She is an advisor to the CEO TRUST and has appeared as a career expert on NBC Connecticut’s WVIT Channel 6.  

Linda earned undergraduate degrees in education and psychology from Marymount College and a Master’s degree from Fordham University with advanced degree work at Purdue University.
