Natalie Grund brings over 10 years of experience in leadership consulting, executive coaching, and talent assessment. As the founder of Grund Leadership Consulting, she works with leaders and leadership teams across healthcare, financial services, manufacturing, construction, retail, logistics, and technology sectors to strengthen leadership capability, align culture and strategy, and build momentum for change. Her work spans selection and development assessments, executive coaching, and the design and facilitation of high-impact leadership development programs.
Natalie has partnered with clients ranging from high-growth startups to large, complex organizations—including privately held, publicly traded, and mission-driven nonprofit institutions. She previously served as a Senior Leadership Consultant at MDA Leadership Consulting, where she led enterprise-wide programs, coached executives and mid-level leaders, and facilitated executive team development. Clients consistently value her ability to translate complex data into practical insights and bring a human-centered approach to leadership development.
Before her consulting career, Natalie served as a Change Management Consultant with IBM, leading stakeholder engagement, communications strategy, and global training efforts for major system implementations across multiple countries and languages.
As an assessor, Natalie draws on a wide range of tools—including Hogan Assessments, 360 feedback, and cognitive assessments—to evaluate leadership potential, derailers, and role fit. Her assessments are used in high-stakes selection, promotion, and succession decisions, and she is known for her clarity, thoroughness, and business-oriented insight.
As a coach, Natalie’s style is warm, direct, and pragmatic. She combines deep listening and clear feedback to help clients reflect honestly, shift behaviors, and lead with greater authenticity and purpose. Her approach is grounded in frameworks such as Radical Candor, mindfulness, and brain-based coaching, and she frequently supports clients navigating complex team dynamics, organizational change, and leadership transitions.
Natalie holds an M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish Studies from the University of Minnesota. She is certified in Hogan Advanced Interpretation and the Leadership Circle Profile and is a certified facilitator of the ExperienceChange business simulation through ExperiencePoint in Toronto.
