As VP & Transition Practice Leader for Crenshaw Associates, Peter Dubner works directly with the firm’s most senior C-level career transition clients. With close to 20 years of experience in executive career management, Peter has worked with executives with a variety of career transition needs. He has helped clients land similar roles in new companies, pivot to a different industry, make inroads at PE-backed firms, and source corporate director, advisory, and consulting roles.
He has worked with executives from a wide range of industries (consumer, media, financial services, technology, healthcare, industrial, and professional services) and multiple functional disciplines (general management, marketing, sales, finance, technology, human resources, operations, legal, and communications).
Earlier, Peter was SVP and Chief Marketing Officer for GE Real Estate, a then $40B commercial finance business. Prior to that, he held executive positions in general management, marketing, operations, and finance for several of GE's industrial, consumer, and financial services businesses. Peter’s clients value his multidisciplinary business background and appreciate the insights he shares regarding how to position business and leadership competencies to gain the attention of hiring executives and boards.
His in-depth marketing background is another asset that he leverages in developing compelling market positionings for his clients and crafting highly effective search campaigns. He applies a systematic approach that helps clients build awareness in the market, generate leads, and ultimately land new roles.

Recognized as one of the most sought-after executive career advisors in the area, Peter also serves as executive mentor to other career advisors and their clients, and as an expert in messaging and interview coaching, diagnosing and revitalizing “stalled searches,” and developing private equity strategies.
Peter holds an MBA from Columbia University and is a graduate of several GE management development programs including GE’s Financial Management Program.
